G. D. College, Begusarai is one of the oldest colleges of Begusarai District. This college is a constituent and multi-disciplinary unit of L.N.M. University, Darbhanga. It has also permanent affiliation under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act. Our college is imparting education up to Post Graduation level in Science,Arts and Commerce faculties. This college has two study centers of DISTANCE LEARNING also i.e study center of IGNOU & Study center of Directorate of Distance Learning L.N.M.U. Darbhanga. This college has its own building and huge campus for all-round development of the students of the college. The college has its own well equipped computer lab with net facility and going to have the entire campus Wi-Fi very soon. The college has a library with up-to-date books, magazines and journals which will be converted into e-library in the coming sessions. The teachers are engaged in research activities. The college is also trying to provide quality teaching all the times and an effort is made regularly in this direction. The college is already pursuing various vocational and job-oriented courses, suitable to the students . No doubt, it will create awareness among them on the one side and job opportunities on the other. Apart from all these, our teachers and staff members take a keen interest in students’ activities and work towards making the students realize the following objectives:
